A non-collecting contemporary art space that supports the work of artists, musicians and visionary thinkers of all kinds. Ballroom Marfa commissions new work, collaborates across disciplines, and produces exhibitions, public artworks, performances, screenings, concerts, and publications. THE BLACKWELL SCHOOL

The museum houses the collective memory of those who lived the experience of the Blackwell School, the segregated school for Marfa’s Mexican-American children from 1909 to 1965.

THE CHINATI FOUNDATION
