THE BLACKWELL SCHOOL

The museum houses the collective memory of those who lived the experience of the Blackwell School, the segregated school for Marfa’s Mexican-American children from 1909 to 1965.

Laird Hovland, Jennifer Joseph, Clayton Porter and other artists. Esperanza Vintage & Art is an art project space mixed with curated Vintage in Marfa and is run by founder Jennifer Esperanza, a nationally known portrait and

MARFA OPEN ARTS

A nonprofit community art center that serves as home for events including musical performances, film screenings and art exhibitions. The space is also the headquarters of Marfa Open Art Festival, running September 22 to October 18, 2021. Marfa Open in Austin runs November 11-21, 2021.
